Abbey Home Care was founded in March 2000 by Jayne Lee, who through remarkable dedication has established her agency with the support of five managers and a team of highly respected professional care workers. The head office is based in Reading and has direct communications for referrals from Social Services, Direct Payments service users and the private sector. Abbey Home Care offers all year round support.
The ethos of Abbey Home Care Ltd is to provide personal care in the service user’s own home that by reason of illness, frailty or disability are unable to provide it for themselves with out assistance.
To do this Abbey prides itself on promoting the holistic approach to all care required to enhance as much individuality and independence as possible.
Abbey Home Care acknowledges that communication is the forefront of providing excellent care. We have identified that one of the greatest fears felt by people being cared for is that they will lose their independence, freedom of choice and may feel they may no longer be regarded as a person of any value. Through undertaking a initial assessments and good communication by all involved parties Abbey will along side the service user and their advocate compile an individual care plan to meet their needs. It is our philosophy that we will promote individuality and independence in a confidential and dignified manner. We aim to provide continuity of care when ever possible.
